Private Road Information

The Piper Pond Association provides oversight and maintenance of the dam at the south end of the pond, monitors the overall environmental condition of the pond’s waters and wildlife and serves as the principal communication network for those owning property on and around the pond. The association’s authority does not extend to the numerous private roads providing access to the pond’s shores. Costs required to maintain, repair, improve and plow these private roads are shared by the property owners along them through annual dues. Dues are handled differently from road-to-road and vary year-to-year depending on need and actual costs. The Pond Association strongly encourages all owners, irrespective of road and location to pay their annual fair share. Good roads cost money to maintain. The names and phone numbers of those currently responsible for collecting dues, coordinating road work and doing some of the actual work are listed below.
